07 antichrist

Marking the mid-point in the seven years, The Peacemaker turns Antichrist [#12] as he is overtaken by demonic power.

Antichrist turns on the Jews who previously hailed him as their Messiah. He breaks the peace-covenant, stops their sacrifice and offerings on Temple Mount, sets his throne in their temple and declares himself God. This is referred to as the 'Abomination of Desolation.' [#11]

From this time on the Antichrist pursues death to Jews and all other inhabitants of earth not willing to bow to him as god. Carnage follows, the likes of which has never been seen before on earth. [#13]

This turn of events is God's punishment to the Jews for accepting the Peacemaker—a human—as their savior. This wrath by God will drive the Jews to recognize their true Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth, when He comes to establish His kingdom on earth at the end of the seven years.

Footnote 12 [back to top]

One of the most mysterious and misunderstood words in the English language is 'Antichrist'.

The word is a cognate of Anti, and Christ:
Anti = false
Christ = deliverer/messiah
Antichrist = false deliverer/messiah

When the "Peacemaker" breaks the peace, he is seen as a "false deliver" or Antichrist.

Footnote 11 [back to top]

Abomination of Desolation is a critical event in the life of the Jewish people and it occurs at the mid point of the final seven-year period. This is when Abdullah shows his true colors regarding his peace treaty with the Jews. He turns on them, breaks the peace treaty and does the most despicable act that a Jew can imagine. He enters into and pollutes their sanctuary in their rebuilt temple; the most scared spot on earth for a Jew. He does this by setting up his throne in there and declaring himself to be god and demands to be worshipped as god.

In the Book of Matthew, Jesus issues a stern warning to the Jews that see this event take place:

Matthew 24: 15-22
24:15 "The time will come when you will see what Daniel the prophet spoke about: the abomination of desolation standing in the Holy Place" - reader, pay attention!

24:16 "Then those in Judea must flee to the hills.

24:17 A person outside the house must not go inside to pack.

24:18 A person in the field must not return even to get a coat.

24:19 How terrible it will be for pregnant women and for mothers nursing their babies in those days.

24:20 And pray that your flight will not be in winter or on the Sabbath.

24:21 For that will be a time of greater horror than anything the world has ever seen or will ever see again.

24:22 In fact, unless that time of calamity is shortened, the entire human race will be destroyed. But it will be shortened for the sake of God's chosen ones [the Jews].
